Job Title: Software Engineering Specialist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in one or more of the following technologies:

  • Oracle based application development technology - Oracle database, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, performance tuning
  • Microsoft based application development technology like .NET, C#
  • Web based development platform - Angular

Apart from technical skills, we are looking for individuals who can effectively communicate with business users, understand their requirements, and convert them into functional software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designing and developing high-quality software applications within deadlines
  2. Conducting unit and integration testing along with functional and non-functional testing
  3. Fixing and improving existing software
  4. Integrating software program components and third-party software
  5. Troubleshooting and debugging applications and providing application support
  6. Developing technical documentation and user manuals
  7. Project management
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant work experience in software engineering
  • Knowledge of one or more of the mentioned technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
