We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support investments and clients. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to finance projects that strengthen low-income communities while also developing skills in transaction support, compliance, and asset management.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting investment closings, managing compliance documentation, coordinating team operations, and ensuring accurate investor reporting.

  • Transaction & Deal Support
  1. Assist with transactions by organizing checklists, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  2. Maintain deal folders, data rooms, and filing systems with accurate documentation.
  3. Document key transaction milestones and maintain internal records.
  • Team Operations & Communications
  1. Monitor and manage the team's email inbox, ensuring timely responses.
  2. Organize and track borrower reporting documents in SharePoint.
  3. Schedule internal and external meetings; manage team calendars.
  4. Draft supporting documents such as cover letters, templates, and signature pages.
  5. Participate in ongoing process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  1. Track compliance deadlines and reporting periods using Smartsheet.
  2. Collect and organize compliance documentation from borrowers, including impact reports and financial statements.
  3. Follow up with borrowers to ensure timely and complete reporting.
  4. Assist in preparing annual investor and CDFI Fund compliance reports.
Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Smartsheet); experience with SharePoint preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with a professional client-facing manner.
  • 2+ years' experience in finance, asset management, real estate, project management, or compliance preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn about community development finance or impact investing.
