Visualizing Medicine

As a Medical Illustrator, you will create accurate and visually compelling medical illustrations that communicate complex concepts with clarity. You will work on projects ranging from journal cover designs, surgical and anatomical illustrations, scientific diagrams, and 3D/2D medical visuals.

These projects will require you to use your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical concepts to depict them in visual form. You will work closely with scientific writers and clients to understand technical content and translate it into precise and impactful visuals.

Key to this role is the ability to balance creativity and accuracy, ensuring that the illustrations are not only visually appealing but also medically accurate.

Responsibilities include:

• Create high-quality 2D/3D medical and surgical illustrations, anatomical drawings, and journal cover visuals.
• Collaborate with scientific writers and clients to understand technical content and translate it into precise and impactful visuals.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in representing scientific and medical subjects.
• Work on a wide variety of projects, including medical figure enhancements, journal covers, graphical abstracts, and educational diagrams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining design excellence.
