We are seeking a highly skilled Data Pipeline Quality Assurance Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, performance, and reliability of our data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Python, Hadoop, and SQL, and a deep understanding of data testing methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes and Big Data systems.">
  • Validate data transformations, data migrations, and data integrity across various stages of the data pipeline.">
  • Perform end-to-end testing of data integration processes, including data ingestion, storage, and processing in Big Data environments.">
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to understand requirements and define testing strategies.">
  • Conduct performance and scalability testing for ETL workflows and Big Data platforms.">
  • Develop and execute test scripts using Python and SQL to validate data quality and system functionality.">
  • Test and validate cloud-based data solutions on AWS, including but not limited to S3, Redshift, EMR, and Lambda functions.">
  • Verify compliance with security and data governance standards in the data infrastructure.">
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.">
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.">
  • Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in Big Data and ETL testing.">

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.">

Technical Skills:

  • ETL Testing: Strong experience with ETL tools and processes, including data mapping and validation.">
  • SQL: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data validation, testing, and analysis.">
  • AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, and Glue.">
  • Python: Proficiency in scripting and automating test cases using Python.">
  • Hadoop Ecosystem: Familiarity with Hadoop tools like Hive, Pig, HBase, and Spark.">
  • Big Data Testing Tools: Experience with tools like Apache Nifi, Talend, or Informatica is a plus.">
