Senior Analog Design Engineer Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team. As an analog design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex analog circuits using transistor level circuit design principles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field with 2+ years of experience; MSEE (or PhD) is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of CMOS design fundamentals, including sound transistor level circuit design principles.
  • Proven experience implementing circuits like bandgap references, voltage regulators, and high custom logic designs.
  • Expertise in optimizing FinFET CMOS layout to minimize parasitic resistance and capacitance effects, and reduce local device mismatch and proximity effects.
  • Awareness of ESD issues, including circuit techniques and layout, as well as design for reliability, such as electro-migration, IR, aging, etc.
  • Proficiency in EDA tools for schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification.
  • High-level proficiency in spice simulators, including HSPICE, Finesim, and XA.
  • Knowledgeable in Verilog-A and/or System-Verilog for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control / data-capture.
Additional Benefits:
  • Ability to provide automation for rapid and dynamic design needs is highly sought-after.
  • Experience with STA and cell characterization, such as Nanotime, Primetime, and SiliconSmart.
  • Experienced in STAR or similar extractor to debug extraction issues.
  • Extensive programming skills in languages like Python, Perl, TCL, and C/C++.
