Job Title: Project Operations Manager

 

We are seeking a seasoned project operations professional to oversee the delivery of high-profile projects in our workspace fit-out industry. As a Project Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and within-budget project completion while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

 

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in team management, commercial projects, and client-centric operations.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards is essential.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to travel and handle projects in other cities if necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should be willing to travel to Kolkata for upcoming projects, however base location will be NCR.
  • Thorough due technical due diligence.
  • Thorough knowledge of MEP and local authority approvals processes.
  • Review all drawings and BOQ for the project and take ownership of the same.
  • Review and plan the complete project milestone, procurement plan and present it to the business team.
  • Attention to detail and adhering to the quality of installation at each stage of construction. Ensuring build partners stick to specified makes and models during construction stage without any deviation.
  • Coordinating with consultants, Architects, and multiple vendors from initial stage to final handover to the client.
  • Logical thinking and bringing in value engineering and cost-saving mechanisms throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • To provide constructability reviews and recommend mitigation measures during pre-construction and construction stages of the project.
  • To be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • If needed, to be able to roll up sleeves and help different teams for successful delivery of the project.
  • To be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thorough documentation of minutes, and effective communication on risk (with a mitigation plan) if any during the project.
  • Effective use of construction management tools/software.
  • To be able to travel and handle projects in other cities if necessary.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.E/B. Tech Electrical/Mechanical.
  • Graduation must be through full-time day course.
  • Specialized in MEP.
  • The candidate must also demonstrate a good working knowledge of commercial projects and aptitude in client-centric operations.
  • A strong background in team management is a mandate.
  • Good research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy.
