As a Senior Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's analytics initiatives forward. Your expertise in designing and maintaining scalable data models using dbt will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our data-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced data models to support business growth and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers to design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.
  • Design and develop reports using Looker and other BI tools to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of database administration and SQL query optimization.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
