This is a role in an operation finance team that controls transportation cost. This is achieved through strengthening internal & external systems by working closely with multiple stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:- Execute and deliver straightforward risk management initiatives, e.g., financial, regulatory, and business continuity.
- Develop policies and programs to guide the organization in accurately estimating freight cost and ensure invoice accuracy.
- Perform deep dives, document findings and share reports with leadership.
- Identify technology gaps and work with tech teams on solutions.
- Communicate results and updates effectively to stakeholders.
- Drive broader risk mitigation activities by collaborating with other teams, such as Internal Audit and Risk.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in risk management areas like internal / external invoice audit and investigation.
- Experience working with global teams, high ownership, and delivering results independently.
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
- Define audit logic requirements and use data and metrics to determine improvements.
- Manage, analyze, and communicate results to senior management.
- Experience driving process improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers.
- Familiarity as an end user of EDI, financial systems, and overall flow of invoice lifecycle.
