Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting operational project teams financially throughout the life cycle of projects.

This position involves providing financial support to project teams, assisting in preparing monthly invoicing worksheets, performing variance analysis, and reviewing work orders and change order budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports project teams in all financial areas associated with running clinical trials.
  • Assists in preparing monthly invoicing worksheets for client invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Performs variance analysis to identify gaps, changes in scope, and other discrepancies.
  • Reviews work orders and change order budgets to identify out-of-scope activities.
  • Supports monthly project review meetings as needed.
  • Collaborates with Finance to achieve overall department goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Europe: University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience in accounting disciplines.
  • North America: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related business disciplines.
  • 5+ years of general ledger and financial reporting experience, including working knowledge of accounting cycles, project budgets, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and contract reviews.
  • Fluency in English and local language skills, depending on location.
