About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accounting Professional to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and a proven track record in financial statement preparation, month-end closing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End Closure: Manage the entire month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Revenue and Expense Management: Review expenses to ensure proper classification, recognition, and TDS compliances. Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.
  • GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and explanations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and month-end closing.
  • Experienced in Team management
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
