Chief Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services, focusing on cost reduction, supplier diversification, and process optimization.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will:

• IDentify potential suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Evaluate vendors based on their technical capabilities, pricing models, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement alignment with business objectives.

Contract Management:

• Select and negotiate contracts with approved vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Monitor contract performance, tracking key metrics such as delivery schedules, quality standards, and pricing.
• Address any procurement-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner, escalating as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with SAP MM Module and Ariba.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

Other Requirements:

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement management.
