Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery
  • Develop project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation tactics to ensure successful programme execution.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and measure their impact.
  • Leadership and Guidance
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff, empowering them to develop their skills and knowledge in project management.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, and external partners.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track programme performance using established metrics, identifying trends, and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Present regular updates to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for enhancement.
Requirements
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
  • Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a global capability centre or similar environment.
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of global capability centre functions.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project, Planview, JIRA, and Smartsheet.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, global team environment.
