UI/UX Design Lead

As a UI/UX Design Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of digital platforms. We are seeking a talented individual with strong design fundamentals and a forward-looking mindset to join our product team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Lead user research and usability testing to refine designs.
  • Ensure designs align with accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness standards.
  • Create pixel-perfect UI components and layouts.
  • Apply motion design or micro-interactions to enhance usability.
  • Maintain design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
  • Design-to-Development Handoff
  • Use tools like Figma's Dev Mode or Zeplin to provide engineers with clean assets and clear design specs.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure faithful implementation of designs.
  • Understand front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS) to better communicate with developers.
  • Prompt engineers effectively to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to speed up ideation and asset generation.
  • Explore and prototype using no-code/low-code platforms for rapid validation.
  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving a scalable design system.
Collaboration & Growth
  • Work closely with senior designers to learn best practices and continuously improve craft.
  • Stay updated on design trends and interaction models.
  • Communicate design rationale and present work clearly to stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating capabilities. Proficiency in Figma and strong understanding of front-end technologies are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also required.
