Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for supply chain management?

  • Job Summary: We are seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support our team in analyzing and improving processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Assist in reconciling warehouse and logistics invoices, maintaining inventory levels, and identifying areas for improvement.
  2. Cost Tracking: Update and maintain the monthly cost tracker, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  3. Reporting: Compile ageing and shelf-life reports for inventory monitoring, providing actionable insights for process improvements.
  4. Action Planning: Analyze and assist in preparing action plans for slow-moving and obsolete articles, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  5. Fulfillment: Compile and share weekly fill rate reports, highlighting trends and opportunities for growth.
  6. Performance Review: Review and track planning vs. actual performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets, with knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup functions, and other advanced features.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with good organizational ability, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interest in Supply Chain: A genuine interest in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating clearly and contributing to a positive team dynamic.

Education:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
