Job Title: Financial Operations Associate

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, taxation, and audit support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. You will also possess good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage general ledger accounts, including journal entries, ledger postings, and reconciliations.
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
  • Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
  • Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.
Requirements:
  • Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries.
  • Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
