Senior SAP Sales Distribution Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP consultant with dual expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM and SD solutions that align with business goals and ensure seamless integration across procurement and sales processes.

Job Description:

The Senior SAP Sales Distribution Consultant will be accountable for leading the configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP MM and SD module initiatives. This involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyzing and mapping business processes to SAP best practices in MM and SD, and configuring and maintaining core MM functionalities such as Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Vendor Evaluation.

In addition, the Senior SAP Sales Distribution Consultant will be responsible for configuring and maintaining SD functionalities including Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Returns, and Intercompany Sales. The role also involves handling master data (Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master), designing integration scenarios between MM, SD, FI/CO, and PP modules, performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

The Senior SAP Sales Distribution Consultant will also provide end-user training and create documentation, support data migration activities, and contribute to S/4HANA upgrade projects. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, WM) for seamless process integration, and supporting production planning processes including Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), Repetitive Manufacturing, and KANBAN.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in SAP MM and SD module configurations, enhancements, and support initiatives.
  • Expertise in Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
  • Strong understanding of SAP best practices in MM and SD.
  • Ability to analyze and map business processes to SAP best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
