Satven is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Function Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, integration, validation, and performance of vehicle body systems from concept through production and post-launch support.

  • Responsibilities include defining, developing, and managing the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicle body systems, which includes body control modules, lighting, doors, windows, mirrors, wipers, keyless entry, and other comfort and convenience features.
  • The Function Manager will own the end-to-end functional architecture of body systems, defining and managing system and subsystem requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Responsibilities also include system level definition, requirements from EE, SW, ME, and support EE, SW architecture design, integration at system, component level. Integral liaison between hardware, applications team, and core CFTs.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders through system 'V' development from concept to launch with design reviews and CFT.
  • Analytical development using model-based design, MBSE/MBD simulation toolsets, MIL/SIL/HIL.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, JFROG etc.
  • Familiarity with A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, LVDS communication protocols and Vehicle Network tools, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.

This role requires rich experience across Closures, Interiors, Safety etc. as respective function owners.
