Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled System Operations Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, upgrade, and integration of BMC TrueSight Operations Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage BMC TrueSight Operations Management
  • Perform upgrades and migrations to ensure optimal system performance
  • Integrate BMC TrueSight with other systems and tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Patrol Agents and TrueSight servers
  • Develop and maintain knowledge modules and custom classes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement Event Management policies and configurations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in system operations and administration
  • Proficient in Windows, RHEL, AIX, and Solaris operating systems
  • Familiarity with Patrol Agents and TrueSight Operations Management
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Desired Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of MRLs and custom classes
  • Knowledge of datacenter IT infrastructure components, Unix, and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies
  • Certification in TrueSight Operations Management
