Senior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing and designing bridges using Steel Composite and Pretension/Posttension structures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair of existing bridges, preparing new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards, conducting design and assessment checks under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer, compiling drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence within given deadlines.

The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with relevant design and health and safety standards, WSP procedures and AIP requirements.

They will use WSP calculation templates and ensure calculation sheets comply with WSP standards. Additionally, they will utilize WSP Technical library and Information systems to assist design work.

Mandatory skills include Bridge Design, Eurocodes and UK CEng.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:
