About the Role

As a seasoned technology leader, you will oversee the development of cutting-edge mobile applications. You will lead a remote team of three engineers, guiding them in their technical pursuits while maintaining oversight of key systems and infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement architectural solutions to drive the growth and scalability of our mobile products.
  • Promote modern software development practices, fostering collaboration with your team and engineering leadership.
  • Take ownership of operational excellence for your team's systems, including monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements.
  • Leverage your expertise to champion innovation within your team and drive adoption of technical best practices.
  • Lead by example, writing production code regularly and mentoring junior engineers to improve their skills.
  • Partner closely with product managers to deliver successful products, providing technical insight to inform key decisions.

Requirements

  • You have experience designing and implementing complex features within mobile applications.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are experienced in mobile system design and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • You have a strong background in leading teams and driving delivery.
  • You are an active learner, embracing new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
