Business System Specialist Job Summary

About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and usability of sales tools, including Salesforce, Clari, People.ai, ClosePlan, and Callidus Commissions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system hierarchy, data security, and Agile methodologies.

The Business Systems Specialist will act as a liaison between IT Development and business functions to drive system enhancements through requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing.

The successful candidate will demonstrate thorough understanding of role hierarchy, forecast hierarchy, and territory hierarchy, and be able to troubleshoot and resolve tier 2 tickets from sales users related to Salesforce, sales forecasting, and other sales tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between IT Development and business functions to drive system enhancements through business requirement gathering, documentation, prioritization, and testing in an Agile environment.
  • Resolve Tier 2 support requests for timely resolution for the end user.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of professional experience in system and tools support with a strong background in Salesforce.
  • Salesforce certification is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, terminology, and best practices, with particular focus on data security.
