Senior Fund Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds, involving data collation from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts using data visualization tools.
  • Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting, adjusting manual forecast data for new deals and uncertain cash flows based on latest information.
  • Review proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within fund structures, instructing them to make additional cash movements as required.
  • Formulate proposals for near-term cash management, including loan drawdowns/repayments, Money Market Fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Collaborate with fund owners within the Treasury team to review and agree proposals.
  • Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and 3rd party service providers.

Requirements:

  • A post-graduate degree or equivalent (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA).
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting is preferred.
  • Managing and/or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparing PCAP.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying ways to enhance processes and procedures that benefit the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize a large workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Solutions-focused and able to work in unstructured environments with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
