Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accor Commis I Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock up assigned kitchens with raw materials and ingredients on a daily basis
  • Familiarize yourself with all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them
  • Mastery of basic cooking methods, including cutting of ingredients and preparing mis-en-place for assigned stations
  • Prepare food items as per standard recipe cards while maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage
  • Apply necessary precautions regarding hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area
  • Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment requiring repair or maintenance to immediate supervisors
Main Complexity/Critical Issues
  • Practice strict control on food portioning and wastage, ensuring gross food profitability
Additional Requirements
  • Be well-versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management

As an Accor Commis I Chef, you can expect a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. Our benefits package includes comprehensive training, opportunities for career advancement, and a collaborative work environment.
