High-Performance Engineer for Large-Scale Client Solutions

As a high-performance engineer, you will work in a product squad and drive solutions for a large-scale client. You are expected to be a skilled engineer who can understand client business domains and drive digital business transformation opportunities.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • ">
  • Understanding client business domains and driving digital business transformation opportunities">
  • Driving architecture, design, estimation, planning, and collaboration with clients to implement solutions">
  • Working on non-functional requirements like security, performance, availability, resiliency, reliability, maintainability, and advocating relevant trade-offs">
  • Collaborating with senior managers, product managers, and platform engineers to define architecture, engineering practices, and guidelines">
  • Coaching, mentoring, and guiding product engineering culture and owning people growth">
  • Developing and implementing software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies">
  • Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of software systems">
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • 12-14 years of experience in building large-scale, high-volume, low-latency, high-availability, and complex distributed services">
  • Hands-on solution architect with experience in delivering at least two large-scale projects from ground zero">
  • Experience in object-oriented, SOLID, and DRY principles, reactive programming models, microservices, and event-driven solutions">
  • Knowledge of Java 8 and above, concurrency, blocking/non-blocking IO, lambdas, streams, generics, and advanced libraries">
  • Experience with database modeling, transactional scenarios, isolation levels, NoSQL, and SQL-based DBs">
  • Extensive use of Spring Boot/Spring Cloud or similar frameworks to deliver complex scalable solutions">
  • Proficiency in build and automation tools, code quality plugins, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)">
  • Logging and monitoring solutions like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, and implementing technical KPIs">
  • Application profiling tools like jProfiler, Yourkit, Visual VM">
  • Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, PCF">
  • Integration with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ, Kafka, cloud messaging, and enterprise messaging">
  • Distributed caching solutions like Redis, Memcache">
  • Testing and performance engineering experience with JUnit test cases, mocking, BDD automation tools, and executing performance and security tests">
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field">
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills">
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities">
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies">
