Job Title: Principal Officer

A seasoned professional with a track record of 5+ years in Alternate Investment Fund regulations is required to lead compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations/FEMA/IFSC regulations and circulars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations/FEMA/IFSC regulations and circulars.
  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in Gift City and ensuring compliances are met.
  • Coordinates with regulatory bodies for timely reporting and compliances.
  • Manages investor queries related to compliance on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifies potential issues proactively and develops strategies to mitigate risks within the operational risk framework.
  • Crafts efficient controls for reconciliations, Risk and compliance management, and reviews daily/periodical MIS and daily operations management.
  • Fosters partnerships with incubators, accelerators, Angel Networks, Micro VC etc.
  • Represents senior management and drives organizational culture and values among employees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related activities in the securities market or financial products.
  • Knowledge of Finance/Accounting would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous reporting, analytical skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
  • Numerical skills & Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
