Job Description

The SAP Finance Functional Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing SAP financial solutions to optimize business processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional consultants to deliver high-impact solutions that transform the organization's financial landscape.

  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them into SAP Finance solutions is crucial for success.
  • Configuring and customizing SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Controlling (CO), Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing, requires strong analytical skills.
  • Leading workshops to gather requirements and map business processes enables effective solution implementation.
  • Developing functional specifications and supporting technical teams in development is essential for successful project delivery.
  • Project delivery and support, including system testing, validation, defect resolution, end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support, require excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborating with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR, PP) for integration points is vital for seamless system operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO implementations and support.
  • A strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and integration with other modules.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP certification in FI/CO is highly preferred.
