Test Architect Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect to lead our testing efforts effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for complex software systems, utilizing expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium.
  • Design and execute automation tests using Python and Pytest framework to validate software functionality, ensuring seamless integration and smooth user experience.
  • Lead API testing initiatives to identify and address potential issues, guaranteeing high-quality backend services.
  • Utilize Selenium for web application testing to enhance product performance on diverse platforms, leveraging expertise in test automation and agile methodologies.
  • Conduct mobile testing using Appium to optimize product performance across various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Define test architecture guidelines and best practices for the team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with agile testing methodologies, fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, empowering them to grow professionally and develop new skills.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes, staying ahead of industry trends and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and testing.
  • Proven experience of 10-15 years in software testing with expertise in Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium, showcasing leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation, with hands-on experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, driving project success and achieving business objectives.
  • Certification in testing tools and methodologies would be a plus, indicating a commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Python and Pytest framework, with experience in automation testing and test-driven development.
  • Experience with Selenium and Appium, leveraging expertise in web and mobile application testing.
  • Strong understanding of API testing, ensuring seamless integration and smooth user experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum and Kanban frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in testing tools and methodologies, indicating a commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
