Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Operations Supervisor. This position will be responsible for spearheading efforts in creating and maintaining component specifications, developing technical documentation, and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

  • Create and maintain component specifications that align with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for mechanical/electrical components that meet industry standards.
  • Standardize product specifications and review engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with design teams to verify drawing accuracy and completeness, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sourcing, quality, and production teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Interface with suppliers to obtain technical data and ensure specification adherence, promoting strong vendor relationships.
  • Component Standardization: Support initiatives to standardize components and reduce part proliferation, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Maintain component libraries (in PLM or ERP systems) to facilitate easy access and management.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure specifications meet relevant international standards, guaranteeing compliance and reducing risk.
  • Change Management: Handle engineering change requests (ECRs) and change orders (ECOs) efficiently, minimizing disruptions.
  • Support for New Product Introduction (NPI): Participate in the design and review of new components during NPI processes, ensuring smooth launches.

Requirements:

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering background or related field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
