Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security operations and be proficient in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Responsibilities

  • Incident Response: Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the security of systems and applications.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and impact analysis for new projects and initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure security controls are integrated into all business processes.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide security training and awareness programs to employees.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT security operations.
  • Skills: Strong hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are a plus.
