Senior Backend Developer

This position involves driving backend architecture and development using Node.js, building scalable high-performance services.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and optimizing APIs, microservices, and integrations.
  • Working with MongoDB for data modeling, schema design, performance tuning.
  • Collaborating with front-end devs (React + Vite) to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate frontend/backend.
  • Handling deployment, infrastructure, and operations on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.), ensuring high availability, security, logging, scalability.
  • Ensuring code quality: tests, code reviews, best practices, documentation.
  • Participating in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentoring junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, building and maintaining backend services in production.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, performance optimization.
  • Comfortable with frontend using React (with Vite), understanding of how backend & frontend interact.
  • Strong experience in AWS: setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, fault tolerance.
