Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud and Big Data expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure, strong understanding of data management principles, and proficiency in Big Data technologies.

  • Design and implement cloud-based big data solutions using Azure services.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate big data technologies with cloud environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud technologies, data management, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and implementing hybrid cloud environments.
  • Migrating on-premises applications and databases to the cloud.
  • Ensuring data governance and applicative implementation standards on the data lake store.
  • Reviewing and capturing non-compliance with data standards, proposing remediation, and following up with stakeholders.
  • Analyzing existing operational standards, processes, and governance to identify improvements.
  • Conducting POCs in Data and Cloud Platform to ensure suggested solutions meet requirements.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Azure for 3–4 years.
  • Proficient in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and their integration with cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Data quality and Governance frameworks and tools.
  • Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD integration tools (Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions).
  • Azure certification (AZ-104 / AZ-305 / AZ-204) and DevOps experience.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Finance and banking experience.
  • Experience working with finance and banking systems.
