As a mechanical design authority, you will play a key role in leading the development and manufacturing support of mechanical systems and components. This involves providing technical expertise to improve processes and ensure high-quality designs that meet performance and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and tolerance studies, as well as experience with mechanical simulation (FEA, thermal). A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with a Master's preferred. The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the design and development of parts, assemblies, and systems
  • Conducting engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and tolerance studies
  • Driving process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Preparing engineering documentation, specifications, and change orders

To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor
  • Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation (FEA, thermal)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
