Job Summary:

 

This position is responsible for determining business requirements and designing PROS and ERP-based business systems.

 

The successful candidate will lead blueprinting sessions with external vendors and global cross-functional teams, evaluate solutions to business requirements, and provide guidance on best practices.

 

Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into configuration, documenting the configuration required, and working to develop, test, and migrate the required configuration to production.

 

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with PROS Control & Guidance and Smart CPQ, as well as certifications in PROS Analytics and Pricing 301.

 

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems is required, and experience with SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution – Pricing requirements and formula routines is a plus.

 

English language proficiency is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Determine Business Requirements
    • Meet with business users, management, and other cross-functional Core Team to understand defined business requirements
    • Document the functional business requirements in a requirements document
    • Liaise with the cross-functional teams to ensure complete requirements are defined and understood
  • 2. Design PROS and ERP based Business Systems
    • Lead blueprinting sessions with external vendor and global cross-functional teams
    • Evaluate solutions to business requirements and provide guidance on best practices
    • Recommend programming enhancements when no standard solution is possible
  • 3. Support PROS Configurations
    • Translate business requirements into configuration with help from other team members and consultants/PROS lead consultants
    • Document the configuration required if complex or unique
    • Work to develop, test, and migrate the required configuration to production
  • 4. Help Prepare Development Specifications
    • Document the required functionality, input, and output for ABAP/CDS views/PROS Control & Guidance/PROS Smart CPQ, and the technical requirements of interfaces to other systems
    • Provide oversight to offshore developers (IST Timezone) to ensure requirements are understood and that a well-designed, efficient, and supportable solution is developed
