We are seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Manager to drive financial performance and oversee accounting functions at CA Monk, a rapidly growing Series A funded SaaS startup. This role is crucial in supporting our ambitious growth trajectory and ensuring financial processes and reporting are optimized. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide key financial insights and contribute to critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to provide financial insights that support business strategies and enhance growth.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes to ensure alignment with business goals and provide scenario analyses for strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to review customer agreements and ensure financial and legal terms are aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to drive sustainable cost reductions and optimize spending.
  • Prepare monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and financial presentations to effectively communicate business performance, financial health, and growth strategies to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, accounting systems, and reporting tools to drive accuracy and scalability.
  • Educate non-financial stakeholders across departments on financial principles, budgeting, and key performance metrics to foster a culture of financial awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Finance or related field or CA (MBA preferred).
  • 7 years of experience in Business finance with a strong focus on business partnering preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, financial software).
  • Experience with fundraising, audits, or working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
