Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for hyperscale data centers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing mechanical solutions for large-scale, mission-critical facilities, including chilled water systems, direct expansion (DX) systems, air and liquid cooling technologies, and alternative cooling methods.

About the Role
  • Design and develop efficient cooling systems that minimize energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint of data center operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cooling solutions with other building and data center systems.
  • Conduct thermal load analysis to assess heat generation and distribution within the data center, recommending cooling strategies that meet capacity and redundancy requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services, Energy Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and engineering of cooling systems for large-scale, hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities.
  • Extensive experience with a wide range of cooling technologies, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems, chillers, CRAC units, and precision cooling systems.
