Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test


About the Role
- Develop automation and performance scripts to meet organization standards.
- Leverage tools and frameworks to build high-quality automated regression suites and test harnesses.
- Design and develop test plans, execute test cases, and analyze results to ensure quality delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver business functionality on time and meet acceptance criteria.
- Focus on building efficient solutions for Web, Services/APIs, Database, mobile testing requirements.
- Participate in internal meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, and technical reviews in an Agile environment.
- Engage in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
- Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights.

Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in programming using Python/C#/Java or other languages.
- Experience in design and development of automated tests using tools like Selenium/Appium/Playwright.
- Experience in advising teams to identify automatable test cases at different layers.
- Ability to work with developers to build automation-friendly code is a plus.
- Experience in refactoring test automation suites as necessary.
- Experience working with SOAP, REST services and understanding of SOA architecture.
- Experience of SQL/PL-SQL, writing queries for test automation and test data setup.
- Exposure to Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices and Agile methodology is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing Test Plans and Test Cases, engaging in Exploratory Testing, creating Defect Reports
- Experience in performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner/JMeter and monitoring tools like DataDog/Kibana/Splunk.
- Experience with accessibility and security testing is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear documentation.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science or equivalent.
