Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional testing, automation testing, and test case management.

The SQA Engineer will be responsible for automating functional, regression, and smoke tests using internal and open-source tools. This will involve managing test cases, creating test data, and automating bug captures.

The successful candidate will also measure test progress and publish daily and weekly status reports. They will define test specifications for functional and integration testing and collaborate with the DevOps team in the continuous build and deployment process.

In addition, the SQA Engineer will report test coverage and participate in troubleshooting. They will perform manual testing and coverage for new features that have not yet been automated, including Black Box and White Box testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests using internal and open-source tools.
  • Manage test cases, create test data, and automate bug captures.
  • Measure test progress and publish daily and weekly status reports.
  • Define test specifications for functional and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team in the continuous build and deployment process.
  • Report test coverage and participate in troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Overall 6+ years of experience in functional testing.
  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing using Playwright, Selenium or a framework.
  • Hands-on experience Rest Assured
  • Strong experience in test case management, test data creation, and automated bug capture.
  • Proven ability to measure test progress and publish status reports.
  • Experience defining test specifications for functional and integration testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the DevOps team in continuous build and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in reporting test coverage and participating in troubleshooting.
