Job Title: Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale data solutions on Snowflake, leveraging expertise in Azure Data Services, Databricks, and data warehousing.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Data Ingestion and Optimization: Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Python/Java, ensuring efficient data loading into Snowflake.
  2. ETL Process Development: Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform data for analytical purposes.
  3. Data Migration and Sharing: Migrate data from relational databases to Snowflake, utilizing data sharing features for secure data exchange.
  4. Dremio Integration: Experience with Dremio for data lake query acceleration, data virtualization, and managing diverse data formats.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Spark architecture, and optimization techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in data security, access controls, and governance within cloud-native data platforms.
  • Prior experience working with cloud storage technologies like S3, Blob/ADLS, and Google Cloud Storage is desirable.
