Job Title: Creative Design Associate

The Creative Design Associate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and building design team workflows to ensure that all designs in the portfolio are delivered in line with style guides, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and track seasonal fashion calendars for the department.
  2. Conduct research and forecasting on evolving fashion trends, incorporating insights into design portfolios.
  3. Monitor market competition and stay aware of development.
  4. Perform daily organizational tasks such as styling ranges, developing embroidery, and producing samples as directed.
  5. Organize styling materials and resources for sampling purposes.
  6. Concept, create, and deliver strong design solutions, presenting ideas and effectively communicating through presentations.
  7. Collaborate with Design Merchant teams.
People Management Responsibilities:

The Creative Design Associate will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with Sampling, Pattern & Khaka's masters and Embroiders.
  • Providing coaching and technical guidance to other designers on the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A diploma or degree in design from a reputable institution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Corel Draw.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the design industry.
  • An understanding of Indian ethnic wear design sensibilities – Fabric and Styling.
  • A proven track record of designing an eye-catching apparel portfolio with a design team.

This is a challenging role requiring strong design skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion design and possess a keen eye for detail.
