Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical Data Strategist with proven experience in short-term vacation rentals to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for professionals who are data-driven and experienced in dynamic pricing, forecasting, and revenue optimization.

This is a high-impact role that directly influences business growth and profitability. You will be responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies for a growing portfolio of U.S.-based vacation rental properties.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and managing data-driven pricing strategies using tools like KeyData, PriceLabs, and other dynamic pricing platforms.
  • Analyzing occupancy trends, pacing data, and market dynamics to adjust pricing and boost RevPAR, ADR, and overall revenue.
  • Monitoring market indicators and competitor performance to inform revenue decisions.
  • Developing performance dashboards and reports to support internal and client-facing analysis.
  • Conducting property audits to identify revenue opportunities, improvement areas, and upsell potentials.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance property performance and alignment.
  • Presenting clear, data-backed recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Leveraging AI/ML tools and automation to streamline data workflows and improve forecasting accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in revenue management or data analytics within the short-term vacation rental industry is required.

Mandatory experience with KeyData, PriceLabs, or equivalent dynamic pricing tools is also necessary. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis is essential.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex visualizations and translate them into business actions is crucial. Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, familiarity with forecasting techniques and statistical modeling, comfort working U.S. hours and engaging with U.S.-based stakeholders, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high independence, self-motivation, and attention to detail in a remote work environment are also desirable.
