Job Title: Senior Manager – Governance, Risk and Compliance

Job Summary:

This is a senior management position within an organization that oversees governance, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk assessments and profiling for business units and operational activities.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt risk management practices accordingly.
  • Ensure policies/processes are designed to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand processes and facilitate documentation of controls.
  • Provide oversight and challenge business units on risk management practices.
  • Carry out risk aggregation exercise to provide unified view of risk.
  • Promote the use of advanced technologies and data analytics in risk management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for risk-related matters pertaining to business and operations.

Additional responsibilities include supporting review of risk and controls, assessing adequacy of controls to mitigate risk of operational & technology failures and regulatory noncompliance, and participating in design of registers/templates and workflows in the GRC tool. The goal is to provide a unified view of risk at the entity level.

Requirements:
  1. Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  2. Experience in governance, risk and compliance roles.
  3. Ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions.
