Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at CA Monk in the Hospitality industry. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our hotel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in financial software such as Oracle or SAP is also required.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hotel's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and analyze financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, aligning with the hotel's strategic goals.
  • Prepare detailed budgets for various departments, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Conduct regular reviews of budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze variances between actual performance and budget, identifying underlying causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IND AS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports to track key metrics and trends.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Identify and address control weaknesses promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, Income Tax, and other indirect taxes.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants to optimize tax planning and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes.
