Production Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations within our designated production area.

Your responsibilities include planning and coordinating production activities, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of production data.

  • Ensure all activities adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accurately document data according to SOPs.
  • Plan daily production activities within the designated production area.
  • Keep up-to-date with and update day-to-day production details as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and high standards of housekeeping in production facilities.
  • Enforce discipline in the workplace to ensure smooth operations.
  • Verify physical stock against stock details on a regular basis.
  • Confirm the calibration of all measuring instruments and equipment before usage.
  • Oversee the qualification of new or modified facilities and equipment prior to use.
  • Monitor and follow up on preventive maintenance of equipment and maintenance works.
  • Monitor the availability of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the production area.
  • Communicate specific instructions received from the Head of Department to relevant personnel.
  • Verify the periodic calibration of weighing balances.
  • Check gauge calibration records and notify engineering personnel for recalibration as needed.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects.

Minimum work experience: 10 years of manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical plants with hands-on experience on continuous manufacturing equipment for API synthesis, reactions, and downstream operations.

Strong understanding of production operations and SOPs.

Proficiency in using document management systems and SAP.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in production operations.

Behavioural skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
