**Job Overview**

As a professional in product merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Your key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end process of leather products from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Execution: Manage the entire order flow from initial inquiries to final shipment, ensuring seamless communication with buyers and suppliers.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and procure materials, components, and accessories necessary for product development.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee efficient and timely production processes, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Establish clear communication channels with internal teams, buyers, and suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders, materials, production processes, and shipping details for future reference.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, including sourcing materials, costing, and sampling.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure stock turnover is maximized.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop merchandise plans, including sales forecasting and budget planning to drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in product merchandising or a related field.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP systems, to streamline operations.
  • Knowledge of the Leather Industry: Familiarity with different types of leather, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
