Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to establish a new business from the ground up. As the Business Operations Manager, you will serve as a right-hand to the business head and be involved across various business functions, driving all aspects of the organization's operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing all business data, sharing actionable insights for improvement, and owning both on-ground and behind-the-scenes tasks. You will spend equal time executing on the ground and working behind the screen, responsible for inputs as well as outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Data Management: You will be accountable for complete business data management, encompassing individual function charters to the Profit & Loss statement of the business, and extracting valuable insights from it.
  • Execution Ownership: You will own the execution of on-ground business activities in collaboration with the business head, including field work and ownership of business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will act as a bridge between individual business functions and leadership, working closely with each function to help them solve problems under the support of management.
  • Process Building and Productization: You will be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the business and individual functions, and productizing business operations through internal tech or third-party SaaS solutions.
  • New City Launches: You will play a pivotal role in new city launches, acting as the city lead for on-ground operations during the initial launch period.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, complemented by an MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Work experience of 1-5 years, with a background in sales and program management. Experience from retail distribution/sales and BFSI sectors is preferred.
  • Prior project management experience and high comfort with data dashboarding and analysis are mandatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of ownership, ability to switch context, and building new business skills quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
