Job Summary:

The Reverse Logistics Specialist position at Roambee Corporation is a hands-on role that ensures the Roambee devices are maximized for circulation and utilization. This position reports into the Director of Operations, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for device pickup, diagnostics, shipping, and handling.
  • Manage day-to-day reverse logistics operations, including coordinating with customers, maintaining an address book of customer contacts, and handling freight and commercial shipment paperwork.
  • Run diagnostic tests on received devices, check passed devices into Honeycomb, and send failed devices to RMA.
  • Build relationships with courier companies and ensure the right courier is used for the right region for lowest cost and fastest delivery.
  • Work with the finance and customer experience teams to process credits for damaged or faulty devices.
  • Engage in communications with all parties to relay difficult messaging around delays or issues concerning device pickups or related transportation problems.
  • Generate daily/weekly pick reports, maintain pickup costs, and manage pickup inventory.
  • Analyze courier and pickup costs, and other data to ensure efficient pickups.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop tracking dashboards and other tools to make the reverse logistics process efficient.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial math or science.
  • 5 years of total experience in logistics-related industry.
  • Ability to command attention in a room of senior executives during training sessions.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience in writing standard operating procedures and other customer-related communications.
  • Strong Excel skills to develop courier costing models and pickup data.
  • Must be a team player and comfortable working across geographies with various team members.
  • Candidate will have to define their own work schedule, as this role is not 9-to-5 and requires working in different time zones with different customers globally.
  • Candidate must be hands-on and have experience in building and leading a team.
