Software Architect Role

At our company, we are looking for a skilled Software Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and architecture, with experience in designing and implementing complex software systems.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions, and systems.

You will design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements. Your responsibilities will also include developing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure the quality of the software.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Doctorate degree or master's degree with 4-6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related field
  • Diploma with 10-12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related field

Additionally, you will need to have experience in:

  • Implementing and supporting biopharma scientific software platforms
  • ML or generative AI technologies
  • Proficiency in Java or Python
  • Proficiency in at least one JavaScript UI Framework (e.g., ExtJS, React, or Angular)
  • SQL (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks)
  • Event-based architecture and serverless AWS services such as EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, or ECS
