Job Role: Structural Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and 3D Building Information Models (BIM) using industry-leading software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate structural drawings and 3D BIM models based on engineering markups and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure model consistency and coordination.
  • Produce detailed shop drawings, sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
  • Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and company standards.
  • Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM tools.
  • Review and manage drawing revisions to ensure quality control.
  • Participate in coordination meetings to provide input on constructability and detailing issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a structural draftsman, with at least 2 years using BIM/Revit.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
  • Solid understanding of structural systems and detailing standards.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Revit or BIM is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
  • Experience working in consultant or contractor environments.
