Power BI Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions with a focus on Power BI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements. You will also be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Build efficient data models using DAX for complex calculations and measures. You'll also perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns that drive business decisions.
  • Data Integration: Create and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various sources. You will also develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into the Power BI environment.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. You will provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stay updated with the latest Power BI developments to recommend best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions with a focus on Power BI.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX for advanced calculations.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView).
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
