Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in helping us make data-driven decisions.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using modern BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase. This includes creating and publishing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide insights into our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions using modern BI tools
  • Create and publish reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Develop and maintain data models using dbt
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure robust and reliable data models

Required Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including complex joins and query optimization
  • Proven experience with modern BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Metabase
  • Hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

The following skills and experience are preferred but not required:

  • Experience querying data in cloud data warehouses or serverless query engines
  • Familiarity with version control using Git
  • Experience working directly with data from NoSQL databases
